Military Punishment
In Holland an army sergeant was in the news for spanking his men. He would call men into his office who would be grounded the weekend on the base for punishment for bad behaviour. He talked to them and suggested he could replace the punishment by corporal punishment. If they agreed they were allowed to leave for home the weekend. They had to strip and he used to put emotional stress on the man as well as a spanking.
Unfortunately due to some guys who betrayed his approach he was in the news and submitted to disciplinary sanctions.
